1. Service Description

LoadReel is a free online tool that helps users download publicly available social media videos from platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter/X, and Pinterest. LoadReel does not host, store, or redistribute any video content. We provide an interface that generates publicly accessible download links via a third-party API.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LoadReel, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), that you have read and understand these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent.

3. Permitted Use

✅ You may use LoadReel to download content you have created yourself, content licensed under Creative Commons or open licenses, content for which you have received explicit written permission from the copyright holder, and content for personal offline viewing only.

4. Prohibited Use

❌ You may NOT: sell, distribute, or publicly republish downloaded content; use automated bots or scripts; circumvent platform security; download content involving minors in a harmful manner; use LoadReel for any commercial purpose without express written permission; or violate any applicable laws.

5. Copyright & Intellectual Property

Downloading a video does not transfer copyright. All downloaded content remains the intellectual property of its original creators. LoadReel is not liable for copyright infringement committed by users — that responsibility rests entirely with the individual user.

LoadReel respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable French intellectual property law (Code de la propriété intellectuelle).

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

LoadReel is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of download links, availability of specific quality levels, or that the service will be free from errors or security vulnerabilities.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LoadReel and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to lost data, lost revenue, or third-party claims.

8. DMCA & Copyright Complaints

LoadReel respects copyright. To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice, email dmca@loadreel.com with:

Your contact information (name, address, email, phone)
Description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
The URL or description of the allegedly infringing content
A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized
A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
Your physical or electronic signature

We act on valid DMCA notices within 48 business hours.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in US courts of competent jurisdiction. For users in France, mandatory consumer protection provisions of French law (including those under the Code de la consommation) are not excluded by this clause.

10. Changes & Contact

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of LoadReel after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will note the effective date at the top of this page.
